WHAT IS UC BROWSER
UC Browser is a web browser developped by a Chinese company that is very popular in countries such as India and Indonesia. Its success came in large part from the browser removing the ads from the websites their users view.
Our sites are among the most visited by UCB users. We estimate over 200 Million people use it to visit our pages.
WHAT THE PROBLEM IS
The problem is very simple : XVIDEOS cannot exist without ads.
Not only do we need ads to be able to pay our (giant) hosting bills, but we need them to pay legitimate content uploaders too. Less ads = less content produced and quality.
We have been tolerating UC Browser all this time at the cost of millions of dollars of deficit every year. When saying that, we do not mean that it was lost profits, but that we really had to pay and lose millions of dollars because of it.
We simply have enough of losing that much for no reason. There is no reason to open our doors to visitors when their visits cost us.
We have been trying to get in touch with UCB staff without success, so we will be making some changes.
WHAT IS CHANGING
We will be limiting the amount of videos that UCB users can watch.
Expect UCB to be completely banned and blocked from our servers in the near future unless we work out a solution with them.

This problem is not limited to UC Browser. In general, the development of all sorts of ad-blockers is a huge problem for all the free websites.
We feel that internet users install ad-blockers because of certain sites that severely abuse ads and pop-up/under, and that we, and other sites that have relatively few ads, pay for them.
As the situation gets worse and worse, expect more measures to be taken by website owners.
